Sports Focus in Schools Limited was formed in July 2005.
Steven Clifford and Wade Lucas run the company, supported by a very experienced team consisting of both male and female coaches.
We are a vibrant company who deliver a wide range of high quality sports lessons to:
Primary Schools
Independent Schools
Special Schools for children with profound and complex learning difficulties
Schools for pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties

Health and Safety:

Sports Focus in Schools has an exemplary health and safety history and every participant’s safety is our priority. We have Public and Product liability insurance up to an indemnity of £5m on all programmes and venues, and Employers liability insurance up to an indemnity of £10m. Prior to the start of every programme a thorough risk assessment is undertaken on each venue.

We will provide:

·A bespoke service level agreement and curriculum based sports coaching- part of the National Curriculum (Games) programmes to schools
·A provision of high quality P.E. in Primary Schools, Special Needs Schools and the Independent Sector.
·Short, medium and long-term lesson plans for all age groups involved in your school.
·An assessment criteria for each child following National Curriculum guidelines.
·Fun structured lessons to increase child participation in sporting activities.
·Exit routes to those children that have ability and wish to develop their sport further.
·Opportunities for Pre and After School activities.
·A healthy active environment to help children develop regardless of their ability
·An opportunity for teaching staff to have P.P.A. time
·Training  for staff to enhance their understanding of the implementation of the National Curriculum requirements.

Where we are:


Sports Focus in Schools is based in Spelthorne, Middlesex. We currently working in Primary Schools and Special Needs Schools in Spelthorne and surrounding boroughs.

Our staff:

·Are highly experienced in working with children in a variety of settings
·Qualified by the National Governing Body of the activities they deliver or by College and University sport teaching qualifications.
·Hold enhanced disclosure through the Criminal Records Bureau
·Hold an up to date Emergency first aid certification
·Have public liability insurance up to indemnity of £5 million
·Hold Child Protection Certificate.

Our staff strives to:

Involve young people in their own personal development and promote self-expression in a supportive environment conducive to the promotion of physical activity

Continuity:

We endeavour to keep the same instructor/s with a group or class for the full duration of any programme. This helps to ensure the highest quality delivery of classes possible and allows us to maintain an ongoing relationship with the staff and children with whom we work.
